Open House

Our Next Open House: Tuesday, May 11 -- 5pm to 7:30pm

Our January Open House was a huge success -- thank you to everyone who made it! We had at least 200 people come through, and some of our demos were so packed that it was hard to see. We've already got our next Open House scheduled for May 11. We decided to have an after-work Open House, so this one will be on Tuesday, May 11, from 5-7:30pm at our training facility.

Whether you were able to make to the January Open House or not, we really encourage you to sign up for our mailing list. We send out fun email updates on our progress, as well as invitations to events like the Open House and our client graduations. Please take a minute to sign up today so we can keep you up to date. If you're not sure whether you're already on the list, go ahead and sign up -- we double-check addresses to make sure we don't have you on the list twice.

Demos

Volunteer trainers will be doing demos with our dogs at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30. Learn how we train our dogs to detect changes in blood sugar levels and assist individuals with mobility problems. See how these dogs can:

• take off socks
• make an emergency phone call
• open doors
• retrieve medical kits
• push buttons
• retrieve dropped objects

Facility Tours

Walk around our training facility and office, and learn why we’ve set our training area up like a home. See how we use our magnetic wall to teach the dogs to turn on lights.

Meet Us

Meet our staff, board, volunteers and dogs, and get your questions answered. Learn about how we train our dogs and how we match them with clients.

Get Involved

We’ll have information about a variety of ways you can get involved. We’d love to talk to you about your interest in EENP.

Bring a Friend

Please spread the word and bring a friend who might be interested in EENP! We would love it if you printed a flyer to share. The entire family is welcome, but please no pet dogs, as our dogs will be working.
