IN MEMORY OF ROBERT RODGERS
For those who do not know, we unexpectedly lost my dad (Robert Rodgers) last Saturday, November 7, 2020. We want to give him the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory. We will be asking for donations that will be going to an organization that is very fitting of the person he was.
Dad had an unequaled bond with the family dog Riley. His relationship with Riley was one that I admired growing up, I can only hope to have a bond half as good with my own dog Nash.
After attending an event with EENP, my dad was profoundly moved at how much work the organization puts into helping the community by training these assistance dogs to better the lives of those with medical needs.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that friends and family make a donation in his honor. Thank you.

I have fond and precious memories of my first cousin Robert, and I am deeply saddened in his passing. His love of dogs touches me in a special way, with us having that in common. I recall us talking way back in the early 90’s about our dogs then, with my first one as an adult being with us then, and Robert and Cheryl sharing comments on theirs at the time. Time passes way too fast as we know. Robert, thank you for our times together growing up, and all the good memories. Prayers for all of the family. God bless.

Robert was very welcoming to us when we moved onto the street a few years ago. We always enjoyed talking with him. Loved seeing him every morning as we walked our dogs. You could tell the special bond he had with his dogs. Heartbroken to hear of your loss. Glad to honor your dad’s memory supporting something very near to him.

There were many mornings when heading to work that we passed Robert as he was walking Riley and the dogs, along with a friendly smile and wave. As a family that has rescued many dogs, we respect the bond that one has with a family pet. We were heartbroken to hear of your loss. Let us know if we can help in any way.

Robert was not just an amazing neighbor, he was a friend to all. He was one of the most giving and caring people we have ever met. We will never forget him.
