EMPLOYMENT

Work With Us!

Eyes Ears Nose and Paws is a nonprofit organization that partners people with dogs to improve lives. We collaborate with the correctional system to train assistance dogs that we partner with people who have disabilities. Our inmate-trainers develop interpersonal, leadership, and job skills while giving back to the community despite their incarceration; and our clients receive life-changing support for their disabilities in the form of a highly-trained canine partner.

Eyes Ears Nose and Paws believes that our greatest asset is our team. As an employer, EENP holds these values:

celebrating the whole person • setting people up for success • generosity in both spirit and resources

In order to center these values, we strive to create a work culture that is:

supportive • generous • grateful • trusting • friendly • flexible • clear • safe • team-oriented • connected to the community

EENP fills positions with qualified individuals who possess the skills and behaviors necessary to meet the requirements of the available positions, consistent with our non-discrimination policy. EENP affirms and fully endorses a policy of non-discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender orientation, national origin, veteran’s status, or disability.

We believe all candidates should be evaluated based on their qualifications, not their personal background. We do not ask job candidates to divulge information about involvement with the criminal justice system until the final stage of the hiring process and we only consider this information where it is relevant to a candidate's ability to fulfill the position.

We particularly encourage individuals to apply who have lived experience in areas that intersect with our work, specifically disabilities or incarceration.

Statistics show that many women and members of marginalized or underrepresented groups apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. We encourage you to break that statistic and to apply. No one ever meets 100% of the qualifications.

We are certified as a local living wage employer by Orange County Living Wage. We are certified as a Fair Chance Business employer by Southern Coalition for Social Justice.
